What JoviNP provides

What JoviNP does not provide

• Clinical supervision or statutory collaboration
• Precepting, clinical oversight, chart review, or co-signature
• Patient care, patient-specific orders, or a provider–patient relationship
• Individualized medical, legal, tax, or financial advice
• Crisis intervention or emergency services

Standing disclaimer

JoviNP provides general professional education and peer mentorship for clinicians and trainees. It is not clinical supervision, statutory collaboration, psychotherapy, patient care, or individualized medical, legal, tax, or financial advice. JoviNP does not review or direct care for any member’s patient and does not create a provider–patient relationship. Each member retains sole responsibility for their clinical decisions, documentation, billing, licensure, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, board requirements, payer rules, and institutional policies. Case-based education must be fully de-identified. Do not upload protected health information or patient records. This platform is not a crisis service.

No protected health information (no-PHI-by-design)

JoviNP is built so that protected health information should never enter it. We do not request patient names, charts, images, record numbers, exact dates, or other identifiers, and we do not permit chart or patient-document uploads. Case learning requires full de-identification. We do not describe the platform as “HIPAA compliant” for marketing purposes; we describe it as no-PHI-by-design and privacy-conscious.

Educational content currency

Clinical and legal/regulatory information is educational and general. Scope of practice, controlled-substance rules, telehealth requirements, and many other topics vary by state and change over time. Always verify against current FDA labeling, your Board of Nursing, payer rules, and current regulations before acting.

In an emergency
